If you've ever wanted to make the leap to off-grid living but weren't sure where to start, we've brought together 7 professionals from across the building, planning, solar and co-operative lifestyle sectors to help unpack the logistics, costs, realities and help you create an action plan for getting there.

Natural Building Australia is coming in 2023!

Help us build a new Natural Building Website for Australian builds, workshops and learning opportunities!

A new website is being developed which will combine all natural building workshops, events, seminars and provide information for volunteering and how to hire a professional to help you build and realise your natural building dream.

We need your support to help get this website off the ground! Please head to the Pozible page and get on the waitlist! so you can find out when and where to get involved!

Natural Building Australia is looking to be the first and only nation-wide natural building website and in-person business for professionals and punters looking to get dirty and more hands on with their homes. This campaign is going to help raise capital to help build the site and develop a platform that can be available to as many people as possible. Through free weekly videos, in-depth podcast interviews, affordable online courses, fun and engaging live events and tailored workshop and hands-on programs, Natural Building Australia will be the one-stop-shop for building smarter and with alternative materials. If you have ever undertaken a building project, especially one that is a bit left-of-centre, you appreciate how isolating it can be. You need support, insight and even hands-on help!

Once the website is up it will provide access to the public for all events coming up that are related to natural building, charging a small membership/annual fee for workshop providers and professionals.

All natural building professionals and providers are encouraged to get behind this website project and sign up for a subscription

To help this project along any donations are most welcome and will be beneficial for all involved as it will function as a one-stop-shop for all natural building events, people and opportunities across Australia

Thanks for your support

Dr Martin Freney heard that the wastewater codes were under review in SA, so he wrote to them and asked if they would revisit his application for an "indoor greywater wicking bed" which was turned down in 2013. It was approved and now dispels the rumour that grey water wicking beds cannot be permitted in Australia.  Contact Marty for more information or detail www.earthshipecohomes.com.au/
